Happy New Year for 2019! We are now bidding farewell to this year and getting ready to welcome in the next year! Irrespective of how the last 12 months turned out for you, I want to invite you to bring love into this New Year. To do that, we should consider what we found unlovable this year and then release it and let it go. If our energy or focus is stuck before, it is unlikely we could be a conscious co-creator with the universe for our future. We also have to think about what was one thing we promised ourselves we would do that past year that we never quite done? You see, sometimes this little thing called inertia sets in and keeps us from fulfilling our dreams and goals. Inertia is very subtle and frequently camouflages itself in indecision, confusion and fear. Take a minute and identify what you could have done differently and make a promise to yourself that this year you will make it happen. Make sure to tell a best friend so you are accountable for starting this goal. Change happens one decision at any given time.
To help you in bringing love into this new year 2019 wishes, I would like invite one to consider ways to expand your creativity in your own life. When we usually are not being creative our excitement forever dwindles and days can become routine so we disconnect from love. However, once we add an part of creativity into our lives by building a project, skill, gift or creation then we have that to check forward and this brain-child brings a sense of purpose, joy and self-love. Our company is then capable of move from divine discontent to creative contentment. Along the way, we unite with our soul selves through this act of creative self-expression. One cannot stay stuck in self-pity and fear when their energy while focusing is on creativity. They don’t co-exist.
Think about the gardener who plants a brand new crop, the author who writes a brand new poem the cello player who plays a brand new song, they all share the blessing to be a conduit for that Divine. Their personal selves step aside and this bigger energy of life and creativity comes through. This creativity that inspires them can stir another to get moved to interact with their divine higher self. Examples of this are: The poems of Rumi, the compositions of Mozart, and also the paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe. In case you have ever walked a labyrinth it is possible to experience the grace in the spirit that built it. In contrast, when our everyday life are focused solely on earning money, likely to work or routine tasks, we miss a vital part of living a fulfilling life. Creativity nurtures our soul and connects us to the source self.
It is essential that we always keep growing, learn and evolve. I heard a friend recently claim that “If we are certainly not growing then we are dying” Although this is a really strong statement it implies that growth is life and stagnation is death.
Imagine that one could have a conversation along with your future self from a decade from now. Let’s guess that his older version of yourself can reveal an important aspect of your life that you currently are troubled or worried about. What might your future self, recommend to you to achieve this new higher-level of creativity, happiness and peace in your lifetime? Perhaps you would quit your work and start your personal business, or design a property or write a book or perhaps a blog or sing, paint, dance or turn into a radio show host. The possibilities are endless!
We should value our creative selves just as much as our responsible hardworking selves that want to offer and protect us. Our creativity is really a God given gift for us to use to add vitality and meaning to our lives. Within this New Year please take time to discover your own personal creative outlet and after that do it. You will be glad you probably did!
